You should be able to tell exactly how our articles are made, who pays for them and what happens when we get something wrong. This page spells it out.

What we are here for

Daily Costa Blanca helps holidaymakers, winter residents and (future) locals get more out of the Costa Blanca, with concrete, verified guides in five languages: what a place is really like, what things really cost and how things really work.

Ownership and how we earn

Daily Costa Blanca is a brand of PMA Solutions. The site earns money through advertising, sponsored content and partnerships. That income never buys a place in our articles: nobody appears in an editorial piece because they paid for it.

How our articles are made

Our guides are based on knowledge of the region, checked against current sources before publication. Practical details that age quickly, like prices and opening hours, are written to hold up over time, and we review articles when things change.

Our principles

• Accuracy: we check facts before we publish and prefer being right to being first.
• Independence: editorial choices are made by the editorial team, not by advertisers.
• Transparency: when content is paid for, we say so, clearly and up front.
• Fact and opinion: recommendations are clearly recognisable as our judgement, not dressed up as fact.

Commercial content and affiliate links

Sponsored articles and advertisements are always clearly labelled. If we ever use affiliate links, where we earn a small commission on a booking or purchase, we mark them, and they never determine what we recommend.

Images and copyright

We use our own images and photos published under an open licence, such as Creative Commons via Wikimedia Commons. Every article lists its image credits with maker and licence. See something that isn’t credited correctly? Tell us and we will fix it.

Use of AI

Our editorial team uses modern tools, including AI, for research and drafting. Every article is checked by a person before publication, and the editorial team remains responsible for everything we publish.

Corrections

We correct real errors quickly and honestly. Spotted a mistake? Mail info@dailycostablanca.com and we will look into it, usually within a few working days.
